Boat Ramps
Lake Ray Roberts is easily accessible by boat with seven public boat ramps located on all corners of the lake. Below are details on the boat ramps around the lake. All of the ramps are very nice and usable for boat launch.
Pond Creek Boat Ramp
Pond Creek is on the west side of Lake Ray Roberts and the closest boat ramp to I-35. If you pass Lake Ray Roberts Marina on FM 1190, there will be a sign and turn off for Pond Creek access on Jones Road. It is a short drive down Jones Road to the boat ramp. There are restrooms near the ramp and a boat dock for loading and unloading. Fee is required for launch.
Sanger Park Boat Ramp
The Sanger Park boat ramp is located on the west side of Lake Ray Roberts. It is just past the Pond Creek ramp as described above. If you are heading down FM 1190 and pass the marina and pass Pond Creek, you will end up at the Sanger Park boat ramp. This is one of the nicest ramps on the lake. The ramp is right next to Lake Ray Roberts Marina. There are restrooms near the ramp and a boat dock for loading and unloading. Fee is required for launch.
Isle Du Bois Boat Ramp
The Isle Du Bois ramp is located within the Isle Du Bois branch of Lake Ray Roberts State Park on the south side of the lake. This is a great three lane ramp that is perfect for loading and unloading your boat during your stay in the park. If you are not staying in the park, there are certainly more convenient options than using the park ramp. There are restrooms within the park and there is a great boat dock for loading and unloading. Located just off of FM 455. Fee is required for use of the park.
Jordan Park Boat Ramp
The Jordan Park ramp is on the east side of Lake Ray Roberts near the Lantana Lodge and the city of Pilot Point. This is a nice ramp for launching on the east side of the lake. This ramp is located off of FM 1192 heading west out of Pilot Point toward the lake. There are restrooms within the park and a boat dock for loading and unloading. Fee is required for launch.
Buck Creek Boat Ramp
On the northeast corner of Lake Ray Roberts, you will find access to the lake using the Buck Creek boat ramp. This boat ramp is located right off of Highway 377 just north of Pilot Point. This is a great boat ramp with restrooms in the park and a boat dock for loading and unloading your boat. Fee is required for boat launch.
Johnson Branch Boat Ramp
On the north side of the lake, you will find the Johnson Branch unit of the Lake Ray Roberts State Park. Within this park there is a great 3-lane boat ramp for launching your boat. This ramp is great if you are camping or just visiting the park for day-use. If you are not visiting the park, there are more convenient options for launching your boat. There are restrooms within the park and a boat dock for loading and unloading your boat. Fee is required for entrance into the park. Located off of FM 922.
Pecan Creek Boat Ramp
The Pecan Creek Boat Ramp is located on the northwest corner of Lake Ray Roberts right off of FM 3002. This is a great ramp for the northern areas of the lake. There is a restroom nearby and a boat dock for loading and unloading your boat. Fee is required for boat launch.
